We are pleased to welcome you and your child to Lissun. Our mission is to provide high-quality mental healthcare and therapeutic services to support your child’s well-being and development. To ensure a clear understanding of our services and mutual responsibilities, please carefully read the following terms and conditions.
1. Scope of Services
Lissun provides mental healthcare services, including consultations with psychologists, special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and behavioral therapists.
Users seeking to engage the services of Professionals can connect with and schedule sessions with such Professionals. While Lissun attempts to ensure that all Professionals with Lissun have the requisite qualifications and experience to deliver the best services, Lissun does not guarantee the services delivered by the Professionals and does not make any representations or warranties as to the effectiveness or correctness of the advice rendered by the Professionals. Users are encouraged to make their own assessments as to the skill and qualifications of the Professionals and the efficacy of the advice rendered by them. Services are available both online through our website and applications, and offline at our physical clinics.
2. Appointments and Consultations
Appointments can be scheduled through our website, mobile applications, or by calling our clinic. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. Please select a time slot that suits your convenience and ensure that all information provided during the booking process is accurate. It is important to arrive on time for your scheduled appointments. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or the need to reschedule, which can affect the continuity of care. If you are running late, please inform us immediately.
If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the slot to other patients in need. Failure to provide timely notice may result in a cancellation fee or difficulties in securing future appointments.
3. Confidentiality and Privacy
Lissun is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all patient information. We adhere to strict data protection policies and comply with relevant privacy laws and regulations to safeguard your child's personal and medical information. We collect non – personal information and personal information that is necessary for providing effective care, including medical history, treatment records and other details shared during consultations. This information is used to create personalized treatment plans, monitor progress, and provide appropriate care. We may also use anonymized data for research and quality improvement purposes, ensuring that individual identities are not disclosed. Access to your child's information is restricted to authorized personnel involved in their care. As a parent or guardian, you have the right to access your child's medical records and request corrections to any inaccuracies. We are committed to transparency and will provide the necessary support to facilitate these requests.
By accessing our services, you consent to our collection, storage and use of your child’s personal information as described. Each time you visit our clinic or provide us with information, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of the information you provide. We take reasonable precautions to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, sale, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, these measures do not guarantee that your information will not be compromised, and by using our services, you acknowledge and assume these risks.
We reserve the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time and will inform you of any changes. We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties without your consent. We may be required by law to disclose your personal information upon receiving a lawful notice from a competent authority, and we may disclose it if you violate our Terms & Conditions or commit an illegal act while using our services.
We will use your non-personal information to improve our services and may aggregate and anonymize it to track usage. These Terms & Conditions does not limit our use or disclosure of non- personal information, and we reserve the right to use and disclose such information to our partners, advertisers, and other third parties at our discretion.
4. Parental/Guardian Consent
By signing this agreement, you confirm that you are the legal parent or guardian of the child receiving services and have the authority to make decisions regarding their healthcare. This includes providing consent for evaluations, treatments, and any necessary interventions. You understand the nature, purpose, and potential risks and benefits of the services provided by Lissun. This includes being informed about the therapeutic techniques used, the expected outcomes, and any alternative options available. You consent to your child receiving these services based on this understanding.
Your involvement and cooperation are essential for the success of your child's treatment. You agree to participate actively in the treatment process, which may include attending sessions, providing accurate information, and following through with recommendations made by the professionals. You consent to receive communications from Lissun regarding your child's treatment, appointments, and other relevant information. This may include phone calls, emails, SMS, and other forms of communication. You agree to keep your contact information up-to-date and notify us of any changes.
5. Payment and Fees
The fees for services provided by Lissun will be communicated to you in advance. This includes consultation fees, therapy session costs, and any additional charges for specialized services or assessments. We strive to provide transparent pricing to ensure you are fully informed of the costs involved.
If you intend to use insurance to cover the costs of services, it is your responsibility to understand your insurance coverage and any out-of-pocket expenses. Lissun will provide necessary documentation and support to assist with insurance claims, but we do not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance provider.
Any outstanding balances must be settled promptly. Failure to pay outstanding balances may result in the suspension of services until the account is settled. We encourage open communication regarding any financial difficulties so that we can work together to find a solution.
6. Code of Conduct
We strive to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all. Our therapists maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards during all consultations. We encourage open communication and a collaborative approach to your child's care, while ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
Parents, guardians, and children are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards staff and other patients. Disruptive or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services.
7. Cancellations and No-Shows
Consistent no-shows without prior notice may lead to penalties or restrictions on booking future appointments. We understand that emergencies occur, and we request that you communicate any unforeseen circumstances as soon as possible.
Regular follow-up appointments are essential for tracking your child's progress. Our team will recommend the appropriate frequency of visits based on your child's individual needs and treatment plan.
8. Emergency Procedures
In the event of an emergency, you authorize Lissun and its staff to take appropriate measures to ensure the safety and well-being of your child. This may include contacting emergency services or providing necessary medical intervention as deemed appropriate by the healthcare providers.
It is important to keep us informed of any changes in your child’s health or emergency contact information. For urgent issues that arise outside of regular appointments, please contact our clinic for guidance. We will do our best to provide timely support or refer you to appropriate emergency services if necessary.
9. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate services if these terms and conditions are violated or if it is deemed in the best interest of the child.
10. Dispute and Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute related to the Lissun Services, these Terms and Conditions, or the rights and obligations of the User(s) and Lissun (“Dispute”), parties shall attempt to resolve the Dispute amicably within 30 days of written notice.
If unresolved, the parties may seek interim or permanent equitable relief from competent courts in New Delhi.
11. Limitation of Liability
The total liability of each Party in respect of any losses incurred by the other party or any of its Affiliates under or in relation to the Agreement, including liability for breach of contract, misrepresentation (whether tortious or statutory), tort (including negligence) and breach of statutory duty, will not exceed the greater that the fees paid by you for the services.
12. Grievance Redressal
If the users have any complaint about content that violates terms, is obscene, defamatory, or involves impersonation, please email to Mr. Sumit Safaya, the grievance redressal officer at sumit@lissun.app . Include your name, contact details, relation to the complaint, and a description of the issue. State your belief that the content violates the Terms, and that the information provided is accurate. The Company reserves the right to replace the Grievance Redressal Officer at its discretion through publication of the name and title of such replacement on the website, which replacement shall come into effect immediately upon publication.
